JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Cyber Security Intern who is curious about ethical hacking, application security, cloud protection, and security testing. This role is focused on learning and supporting security tasks for websites, mobile apps, and cloud infrastructure.
No advanced experience required — just willingness to learn and do hands-on work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in basic scanning and security testing of applications and websites
• Run tools like OWASP ZAP, Nmap, Burp Suite (Community Edition)
• Help monitor server and firewall logs
• Report and document basic vulnerabilities
• Assist in SSL expiry tracking, access control checks, and update logs
• Learn and follow OWASP Top 10 and basic security guidelines
• Support the tech team in verification after bugs are fixed
• Research latest cyber threats, CVEs, and security updates.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA & REQUIRED SKILLS

• Basic understanding of networking, HTTP, and how websites/apps work
• Familiarity with Linux commands (optional but helpful)
• Interest in ethical hacking, cybersecurity concepts, or cloud platforms
• Ability to learn tools and follow instructions
• Basic written documentation skills
